Describe the subject and action
Start with who or what appears and what is happening. Add the environment and the most important visual detail.
Set composition and mood
Specify close-up or wide view, camera angle, negative space, lighting, atmosphere, color direction, and intended aspect ratio.
Say what to avoid
Include only meaningful exclusions: no visible text, no brand marks, no crowded background, or no photorealism, for example.
Refine one variable at a time
Save the strongest result, then adjust composition, palette, or detail in a follow-up instead of replacing the entire brief.
