A five-pass AI writing workflow that keeps your voice

Do not ask for a perfect draft in one step. Smaller passes make it easier to preserve intent and catch unsupported claims.

Pass 1: direction

Give Chat AI the audience, goal, source facts, desired action, and things the draft must not say. Ask for three distinct approaches.

Pass 2: structure

Choose an approach and request an outline. Reorder the logic before generating polished sentences.

Pass 3: draft

Set length, tone, reading level, channel, and required facts. Ask Chat AI to flag missing information rather than invent it.

Pass 4: critique

Request a critical review for clarity, repetition, unsupported claims, weak transitions, and language that does not sound like you.

Pass 5: human edit

Verify facts, restore personal detail, check permissions and originality, and read the final text aloud.
