Voice access does not unlock Work or blocked apps
For Enterprise and Edu workspaces, both Voice and Work must be enabled to use the combined experience. Turning on Voice does not enable a blocked plugin. Connected services retain their existing data permissions and action restrictions, so check the account and workspace you are using before expecting a particular workflow.

Keep the screen available for approvals
When an action requires approval on web or mobile, use the on-screen controls to accept or decline. Spoken approval is not supported. Voice in Work also consumes normal Work usage alongside the applicable Voice allowance; desktop Voice has separate pricing and limits.
- Live does not support video or screen sharing. Eligible mobile users need Advanced for those capabilities.
- Live cannot currently find or add files from ChatGPT Library. Manually attaching a supported file may be possible for your account.

Try a read-only brief before requesting changes
Editorial exercise, not recorded app output: use a short, non-sensitive project note in a connected app you are permitted to access. Identify the note and account explicitly, then ask for a summary without edits or messages.

Choose between live conversation and a transcribed prompt
For ChatGPT, Voice is the back-and-forth option; Dictation turns a recording into text you can review before sending. Voice transcripts are not verbatim records. Do not treat a conversational transcript as an exact quotation.
